· To investigate Islamic views on science and technology education.
· To gain an adequate understanding of the current thinking and policies in the Islamic states.
· To gain a better understanding of the existing problems inhibiting science and technology education in these states.
· To exchange views on innovative and creative measures carried out in different countries to raise the students’ performance.
· To prepare the grounds for collaboration and cooperation among Islamic states.
· To contemplate improved policies and action plans.
· To identify research priorities in science and technology education domain.
